The Best Place To Find The Cheapest Prozac

Drug name: Prozac

How does the medicine work?
Prozac (Fluoxetine) is in a new class of antidepressant medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs that affect chemical messengers within the brain. These chemical messengers are called neurotransmitters. Many experts believe that an imbalance in these neurotransmitters is the cause of depression
Fluoxetine is believed to work by inhibiting the release or affects the action of serotonin. Fluoxetine does not have MAO activity.

Dosage:
Prozac should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage of Prozac usually is taken once or twice a day. To be effective, the medication should be taken regularly. Make a habit of taking it at the same time you do some other daily activity.

It may be 4 weeks before you feel any relief from your depression. For obsessive-compulsive disorder, the full effect may take 5 weeks to appear.

Possible food and drug interactions

Combining Prozac with MAO inhibitors is dangerous. Do not drink alcohol while taking the medication. If Prozac is taken with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered.
